Replant

#Monstera when do I replant? And I can take another pic but I also wonder why it's it doesn't seem to be climbing, would you call it drawing? I don't know
Give her something to climb! A moss pole in the pot and begin guiding the plant towards it so new growth knows it's there. Bit of a slow process but once a monstera begins to climb you'll see the fenstrations.
You should replant in the spring. Get a pot that has a tray in the bottom. Monstera’s love humidity. There are some at Target. Trust me, it will go nuts!
@RegnantIvy does that help it get the holes in the leaves?
@RegnantIvy hi quick question. Is the moss pole supposed to be moist all the time??? I placed one in my Swiss cheese monstera and the leaves started turning yellow and falling off. Maybe I put it in wrong? πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
@Aprilash2012 Getting a pot with a tray or putting a plate or tray under your pot and keeping water in it will help the monstera get holes. And of course, plenty of room for the roots to grow freely.
@CozyBiglaurel No, you do not need to keep the moss moist. There are a number of reasons your leaves could be turning yellow. I think it’s a coincidence that it turned yellow when you put it in there. Without knowing more, I couldn’t say why they are turning yellow. I would just cut the yellow and see how it does.
Thanks. It was really weird . To the point where I just took the moss pole out… ugh idk I guess I will try again because I want it to climb. That was a burning question I had. I really appreciate your response! 😊
@CozyBiglaurel I have a moss pole in mine and it seems fine. No holes, so I’m going to try adding water/stones to the tray underneath.
