Parlour Palm Browning
Hi all!
I've got a Parlour Palm plant that I've had for a couple months now and the leaves are starting to brown. I water it about 89ml every 1-2 weeks and it's currently in indirect sunlight but right around the corner of a window.
Is it getting too much sunlight?
Am I watering it enough?
Has anyone had this issue with their Parlour Palm plant before?
I love her and I don't wanna lose her :(

There are a couple of things that come to mind! One is that the 89 ml may not be getting ALLLL the way down through the soil, which can lead to dry rot in the roots. It could also be the opposite where youβre watering too often! I only water when I can see that the soil is completrly dry. Otherwise, you can get root rot that way as well! I suggest unpotting and gently tugging each of the roots. If they are mushy, fall apart/off easily, thatβs rot! Rinse off remaining roots and spray with 3% hydrogen peroxide and then repot in NEW soil.
