Is the pro version worth it?
For more info: Im kinda new to plants and Im loving it, until now I have been watering them when they dry out or almost dry out, but it would be nice to have a reminder to know when to do it. what more features does the pro version have that you consider useful #thanks!

I'm going to be honest, Greg can absolutely tell you to overwater. When I was starting out, I nearly killed my snake plant! It's still alive right now, but no new growth at all. It does tell you where a plant should be in terms of sunlight, and it's pretty basic but okay. And also, you do risk overwatering following Greg to a T. You're probably much better off watering when they dry or almost dry out! I have Greg for the helpful family community. Also, you get three months of Super Greg for free if you refer a friend and they join!
@LittleSongbird thank you so much for the info! Ive been seeing several post saying that a plants soil was still damp when greg told the poster to water. so that was my concern haha. I will stick to the regular plan for now :) ty!!
@SharpLancefern I agree with @LittleSongbird the app will initially encourage you to water maybe too frequently. My understanding is that it is designed to learn and then act as a regular reminder. I push the snooze button for watering frequently, but gradually the app is changing the reminders to match how often I water. And it does remind me to water plants that I have forgotten about!
I def think it is worth it. Not just because of the funktions. I tried it for a time for free (you could edit waterering and such in the plant edit, it is just easier with the buttons especially with many plants).
But I fell completly in love with the community after scrolling here for a while, and figued I had to support this initiative so I feel like I am giving something back😊

I love this plant app. I’m so glad I signed up for the super Greg. I have 283 plants so I have them all in inventory and the app tells me when to water them. I don’t necessarily water them when Greg says to because I used my moisture meter to check each plant before I water them, so it’s really up to the individual. If you wanna spend the extra money there’s lots of pluses and perks to it.
@clairsheart can you tell me more about the 3 different patterns and how to do that? Ive not seen anything like that
