So I'm... embarrassed. What should I do with my micans?

So this is my #philodendron #philodendronmicans.

I got it a few weeks ago as a trailing plant. It was BEAUTIFUL. But after seeing pictures of beautiful, tall, bushy climbing micans, I decided to transfer it to a coco pole so I could start the process of getting one of those tall micans for myself! As you can see... the results are not great.
So my question is: what should I do? Should I leave it on the pole to start climbing? Or should I try to get it back to how it was? I'm worried I'm going to put it into too much shock, so until I get some advice.. I'm going to leave it alone. I'm wondering if I should have just let it trail and eventually remove a cutting and make a new plant that could climb... is that still possible if I remove the pole?
Thanks for any help! Please be nice... I know it doesn't look great anymore hahaha ๐Ÿ˜…

Ok..They like to climb just as much or more than they like to trail. I started with a Golden Pothos cutting that lives in the bottom of one of my Corn Plants..h20 prop then a 3 inch soil..then on a SPHAGNUM MOSS POLE ,That she can grow into..stimulates growth..Coco Poles might as well be metal, but they can work. NOT too much water. A lot of light. Make sure the roots dont have rot. If so clean rot with hydrogen peroxide ,cut off rot roots spray with clean h20. Now you can put in a water control soil with perlite .I add orchid Bark..And this is the result. PS. If you are not willing to take the time to keep a Moss Pole watered regularly, then dont do it. I LOVE all that involves keeping them thriving to see how much I can help them be as close to the way they grow in Nature. Here's my results in a few months. Hope this helps!
So.. i couldn't bear to see it like that, so here's the updated picture. Any tips are still appreciated!
Oh gosh! Dang, philodendrons and their overly sensitive natures. ๐Ÿคฃ Micans can be really sensitive to lighting too. Too much light can scorch them pretty easily, but on the same note, they also need enough light to grow. They love high humidity and bright indirect sunlight. Your pole looked pretty in my opinion. It just needs a little time to adapt and adjust to its needs. But they can be trailed and or trained itโ€™s up to you.
@Idplantthat why is your plant collection private? We can't see..Is that how u want it?
@DaringColtsfoot thank you for the help! Do ypu think its okay to leave it as it is in the third picture i shared in a comment?

I ultimately decided to leave this one trailing and I'll get another one in the future that will climb! I just hope i didn't stress it too much with all the back and forth ๐Ÿ˜“
@DaringColtsfoot I honestly didnโ€™t know it was set up that way. Iโ€™ll see how to change it. Thanks ๐Ÿ™ for letting me know
@Idplantthat ๐Ÿคฃ be honest, is the final result okay? (Its the picture in a comment with no pole) I'm kinda mad at myaelf for potentially ruining a really pretty plant.

I will definitely be getting another micans to grow up the pole! A local seller near me has a variegated micans that I've been eyeing ๐Ÿ‘€
@DaringColtsfoot, I believe you should be able to view them now.
@DaringColtsfoot also, I will definitely put my micans on a MOSS pole, not the coco, when I finally get another micans :)
@heyjp they are fine like that , they just won't mature as fast , because in Nature, they crawl or climb wherever they are..Look at pics of mature micans..Huge Leaves =Light & something to climb
