What am I?!
Good Morning all! My friend has given me this plant for my birthday. She didn’t know what it was and each time I have scanned I have gotten a different variety of begonia. Could I please ask for some expertise from you all to help me identify what plant this is! #begonia #greggang #help #helpneeded

Identifying begonias is kinda hard, fyi. For care guidelines, it can be helpful to id the TYPE of begonia, and then do more research on the species as it grows. This one looks like a cane-like begonia. Rhizomatous is a different type of begonia with different growth habits, and they are also common houseplants. Which isn't to say the above ID guess is wrong! Just if you ever can't identify the exact species, you can still get an idea of how to care for it based on the type of begonia/the way it grows
