Money tree help!
I noticed today that my money tree has little brownish orange specks on the leaves, so I used my microscope to get a closer look and this is what I found. What is this? fungus? Pest? bacterial infection? Please help :( #helpneeded #MoneyTree fungusamongus">#fungusamongus #sickplants #PlantClinic #PlantTherapy #PlantGraveyard #help #hell

I would cut off the infected leaves to make treatment easier. You will need to treat weekly for 3 weeks with whatever treatment you prefer. The white as spots are likely their eggs sacs you MUST be aggressive with your treatment. Treat the whole plant stems undersides of leaves, everything. I always treat my soil to just in case. Although scale insects are generally not in the soil, they can get in the unintentionally.
An inexpensive treatment for your plant and soil which I would flush thoroughly is:
1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide + 3 parts water mixed together.
Spray your plant and flush your soil with once a week treatments for 3 weeks and isolate your tree from others.
Again! Thank you for the AMAZING photos they are fantastic and make helping you sooo easy. β€οΈ

@philove I havenβt seen any ants, on any of the plants or in the house :/
@TheCarlyBeth Seems like you caught scales early, make shute to change the soil and clean de pot good, clean the leaves daily for a week and then once every week, keep and eye on her, good luck!

@TheCarlyBeth just be sure not to cut your nodeβs off. Or youβll be hard pressed to develop new . On the bright side it should fill out quickly if cut right .
