It’s personal preference if your plant has a damaged/browning ect leaf. Some cut off the damaged part, if it’s a tip or easily removed. Others take the leaf. Use a sharp of scissors you have sanitised and clip it next to the stem with a rubber plant.
@SincereSalsify Welcome to the Greg community! To remove or not to remove that is the question! It is strictly a esthetic choice. To remove damaged leaves on a rubber tree, simply use a sharp pair of pruning shears to cut the leaf cleanly at the stem where it connects to the branch, ensuring to remove the entire leaf if it's significantly damaged; always wear gloves to protect your hands from the plant's sticky sap when pruning. Leaf damage happens for a number of reasons. Do you have a pic of the leaf you’re concerned with? Check to be sure it’s not caused by pests. Look closely especially on the underside. Sometimes a leaf unfurls weird and gets some damage from that. Most of the time for mine it’s because it was bumped into or the leaf is old.
