Been wilt-y for a few days :(
I got this guy on Sunday. I don't know much about plants, but I noticed in the car that he was pretty droopy. I gave him some water, let him drain, and then placed him in front of the window that gets the most sun but he's still super droopy 3 days later. I'm not sure what to do :')

Welcome to the Gregs Basil❕ Your Chinese Hat Plant is gorgeous, rare and unique. (Its scientific name; Holmskioldis Sanguinea is hard to pronounce.🤔) I don’t think a lot of nurseries are aware of this beautiful plant, because it’s hard to find.
▫️Are you going to grow it on a fence or trellis? Because this rapidly growing climbing shrub can grow 6-10 feet tall and spread 6-10 feet wide. WOW! 😯 But, using support is an optional; it can be kept under control by pruning. Experts claim, heavy pruning after it stops flowering, will promote new growth.
▫️It will probably bloom all year round in gorgeous Hawaii, but expect lots of blooms in late spring through fall. The beautiful flowers will attract butterflies & hummingbirds🙂
☀️Your plant will thrive in full to partial sun.
▫️It prefers well-drained soil.
▫️It will be drought-tolerant, once it’s establish.
💧Water it when the soil is completely dry. If possible, (if the drainage hole is large enough), put your finger in the drainage hole, to determine if the soil is completely dry. Don’t water it too fast. If it’s watered too fast, the water will run out of soil before it can get a good drink. It will still be thirsty. 🙂▫️For more information:

🙏 I hope your plant will live long and prosper. I also hope to see it again someday.
