Nope, this is not a golden sedum. This is probably a pachyphytum or Sedeveria lilac mist(the leaves look similar to lilac mist).
It is unfortunately not golden sedum and I’m not sure what it is, but, i do know a good app for identifying plants called ‘picture this’.
I don’t know if you’ve used that already, but, if picture this doesn’t work, there are many other (all free!) apps! Best of luck and happy growing!
They need a lot of light to survive if you don’t give them enough light they will die and they don’t need much water! Only water when the soil is really reall dry it is perfectly fine if you forget to water them just make sure to water when you realize you forgot watering day They require temperatures between 60 and 80°F. They cannot tolerate temperature below 45°F and cannot stand temperature above 90°. I think they would do great outside in my South Texas warm winters good luck, and I miss my dead dog
Just to test it, if you put it under bright light it should turn lightly lilac.
It does turn color under bright light I had noticed that before. Lilac mist she is. Ty again.
