Light
I have a lamp that I use as βsunlightβ but my leaves go over each other and the ones on the top are good but the ones under it die because they donβt get enough light because new leaves keep on coming on top of them thank you so much for taking the time to read this!!

@Roshan I'm sorry, but you skipped a pruning step while the tree was young. It will be harder for you to stomach doing it now, but it will encourage more growth and branching. Please watch this video.

Also, your lighting just isn't enough... it's not that it's coming from the top or bottom, it just needs more light in general. The whole room (at least the whole corner) should be very bright.

@Roshan Welcome to Greg! Did you have a question?
@UltraKoreanfir I have a lamp that I use as "sunlight" but my leaves go over each other and the ones on the top are good but the ones under it die because they don't get enough light because new leaves keep on coming on top of them. Do you know what I should do?
@Roshan what is your plant?
Ok, I see it is an avocado. Can you take a picture of the whole plant, please?
It looks like it's very tall with leaves only at the top?

@UltraKoreanfir IοΏΌ feel so bad for my plant now but thank you for sharing this video
@Roshan You're welcome. Don't feel bad. It is the most common mistake made by literally everyone who tries to grow an avocado from a pit π₯.
