Can you shape Hoyas?

My grandma recently gave me a cutting of her Hoya, and she’s a very artistic woman, so I wanted to do something with the incredibly long sprout she left me with. Are Hoyas capable of shaping? I’ve seen videos of people training certain plants to mold around rocks and make unique patterns, but I don’t want to hurt this baby if she can’t do it. I know Hoyas are natural climbers, so maybe? Let me know if you’ve tried! #Hoya #HoyaPubicalyx

You can do a carcass with metal or wood (I'm not a specialist in this area πŸ˜…)
@MilkNewt Have you seen those trellis' made out of a coat hanger and shaped into a heart or a circle shape? Google small Hoya trellis and look at images! There are some good ideas on there maybe one can inspire you! 😊
Majority of Hoyas love to climb! I am going to trellis many of mine this spring now that they are big and hard to contain.
I use moss poles and quite a few of mine are on bendable moss poles. Moss or coco coir are both good because it’s similar to the bark from trees that the naturally like to climb so it helps them along. The bendable moss poles I buy on amazon and you can twist them into any shape you want and Hoyas love them!
