How is he doing?

I just got this almost a week ago from a nursery (not Lowe’s or Home Depot type place) and I was wondering how he’s doing? This is my first monstera. I’m not sure what the yellow and browning it came with means so I wiped the leaves and stems down with a water, hydrogen peroxide and neem oil mixture, I’ve done that twice now since I got it.
Is it in a good spot sun wise? Any tips?
3ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 5 days ago
@misplantitas overall it looks good. I keep mine in the bathroom with a window because I found that it really really likes humidity took me about a year and a half with it to realize that. And I have it in Coco coir. This is how it looks now and I propagated from it alittle over a month ago. Yellow edges could be from watering too much or too little or too low of humidity. I water once a week. Hope this helps
@PoisedAlbo I have a cococoir perlite blend, would that work? I’ve also noticed it’s dripping from random leaves when I haven’t watered it almost like it’s sweating? Thank you this is great info!
@misplantitas yes that would work. Also, that’s called guttion which means it’s the plants way of trying to get rid of extra moisture than it cannot absorb. My colocasia does that sometimes.
@PoisedAlbo wow! I got a dark colocasia along with this monstera, so that’s really good to know thank you again! 🫶
@misplantitas you can look it up on YouTube and find out more about it. My gloriosum as does it and they are just fine. I also don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but mine seem to do it more when it rains a lot outside.
