help! is it root rot?

my pinstripe calathea has fungus gnats and i can’t tell if it has root rot also? she unfortunately was mauled by my cat about a week ago too so it’s been rough for her. a few leaves died and dropped off - but she has some new growth going as well. I’ve been using gnat traps and pyrethrum spray - her soil is not too damp but not dry either. Is the dryness down the bottom due to any of these issues? #PinstripePlant

Hi there! If you’re unsure about root rot, it’s best to remove the plant from the pot and check out the roots if nothing is squishy then no rot! Hopefully she gets better soon!
@Prettycactus_ thank u !
