Why is my snake plant curling?

Had this snake plant for some time already and it's making new little friends! But I'm curious as to why my snake plant is curling like this? It used to be in a smaller plastic pot, no drainage, until I put it in a better pot recently. Just wondering why it's curling like this. Gets plenty of water and sun, new pot has good drainage and is also spacious, has fresh soil, no pests, no apparent root rot, and no compacted soil. Just curious ðŸĪ” #snakeplant #snakeplanthelp

@aresghost You might want to go back down a pot size. Snake plants like to be root bound and since the plant is on the smaller size it takes a lot longer for the soil to dry out. Make sure you aren't giving the plant water until its soil is completely dry. Their roots are rhizomes that hold on to water and they basically thrive on neglect. In the wild they can go for long periods of time without it raining then when it does rain it is usually a downpour so make sure you have it planted in some well draining succulent soil. Even if the app says that it's time to water always check the soil to make sure it's 100% dry then water it thoroughly. 😁👍
I’m not 100% but it looks thirsty to me
I love that pot it is so cute!
@aresghost Welcome to the Greg community! I agree with @princesspitstop the pot that the plant is in now is way too big for a plant that size. What soil is it in now? It should be in well draining succulent soil/cactus soil mix.
Too much water ???
The soil in that pot looks quite wet? Snake plants don't like too much water, wait until the soil has dried out completely in between watering
