@AnewAudreyficus, there is no need to worry. Cactus spikes do not grow longer than they are, and you don't need to be in a hurry to find a new pot. Cacti like being root-bound because the soil can dry out faster; they are very easy-going plants.
Yes, cacti are slow growers; you're rarely going to notice significant changes. However, that's one of the reasons why people like them; they take up little space that way.
@Seedstarter thank you so much. I am aware that I need to repot him, but I have not had the time to go and find a proper pot yet. I’m worried that his pricks will continue to grow and can injure a person/pet in the units beside me. there have been no problems yet, but I am still concerned.
You are amazing. The only problem with my pot is that there’s no drainage and the roots are starting to push against the pot so I need to find a good one, but I haven’t been able to find anything that suits him… He needs to look presentable of course πŸ˜‚πŸ₯°
