Money trees

Hey, someone special gave me this plant, but I feel that it is going to break because it is very tightly wrapped with a metal restraint. I took the metal piece off, What do you think I should do? I really don’t want it to die. #MoneyTree
You’ll need two things. 1) twine/cord of some kind 2) a wooden dowel or plant stake. Place the stake behind the plant, and gently wrap the twine around both stake and plant. As the tree grows, you can loosen the twine and refit it, but make ssure it’s decently secured. Metal is not recommended for use on plants in this manner, at least not in my experience. It’s unforgiving.
Money trees will be fine with that it's a scar. But it will not be okay with the rubber band below the surface of soil that is buried at the base of the tree near the root. Romove from the soil work the soil away with your finger and search for it .

They hide really well and it will need to be cut off the bottom rubber band will kill your trees.
