Is this a cream allusion or a golden allusion syngonium?
I just got this from super saver so of course it wasnβt labeled but it was cheap and a color I donβt have yet. This being said, any help on telling the difference between the two? #Syngonium #SyngoniumSquad #PlantID

Here is my cream allusion. Some leaves can have a bit more red veining than others, while others can have a bit more green. The most important thing I've learned with all my syngonium: they do NOT like their soil to stay "evenly, consistently moist" like many plant care apps and websites claim. That's a great way to end up with root rot. I let mine completely dry out. I've also had the best luck keeping them in thin, plastic pots. Terracotta dries out too quickly, and glazed clay pots hold onto moisture too long. Even better are clear plastic pots, which let you keep an eye on roots and see exactly when the soil has completely dried out. If I still see condensation inside the clear pot, I wait to water. I also keep all of mine in a bright north-facing window that never gets direct sun, which will cause their delicate leaves to burn.
Anyway, just wanted to add that bit of info since I have a decent amount of experience growing these lovelies. They're one of my favorite type of plants π₯°

It looks like my cream allusion, but honestly the names don't really matter. The same variety of syngonium can be given a different name depending on which grower it came from. When I have a plant that isn't labeled, I figure out what it looks the most like, then choose that name and run with it lol. I can get OCD about having the exact correct name, but I've learned to let it go since they have exactly the same care π
@stephonicle thank you so much!! The letting them dry out completely is a great tip since I agree them being evenly wet ends up with some leaves not looking great on mine! Iβll keep an eye out with my others as well
