What kind of bug is this? #PestControl
Iβm low key a stalker to make sure my babies are ok and saw tiny white bugs on Tiffany about 2 weeks ago. Hosed her down, treated her with spray and granules. Noticed them back today, but I havenβt been able to figure out what type of bug it is and they are only on spot ever! I caught one on tissue today. What kind of bug does this look like? Also, plant is still growing and seems to be fine. Iβm so confused pestsAndPlants">#pestsAndPlants control

When I read βIβm low key stalker to make sure my babies are onβ I thought oh my goodness Iβm the same dang way! I donβt know anything about your plant, but I just wanted to mention that adding any or relevant hashtags would help more people to see your post that way to help you! When you make a post, use this icon & add AS MANY as you want to reach as many people as possible! I want you to get help for your baby, go edit your post & add some hashtags.. I hope this helps you even if I canβt π€π€π€
#PestControl is a good one too!
@Artistic_Stoner thanks. Didnβt even think about hashtags, Iβm soo annoyed.
@WonderWoman13 sorry thatβs happening.. itβs not an aphid ? Looks like one to me but I donβt have experience with them..
@Artistic_Stoner I guess it comes with the territory, but thank you! It doesnβt look like the pics. Itβs not cotton-y at all.
@Artistic_Stoner l think youβre right! The 10 day cycle is about right. Iβve seen about 3 -4 today & it was about 10 days since I saw them last. Iβm tempted to just chop off the only area I see them at this point. THANK YOU!
@WonderWoman13 itβs my absolute pleasure ππΌ if you have a tiny spray bottle maybe fill it with 70% isopropyl alcohol & spot spray it to kill them! Donβt have the plant in direct sunlight when you do it but that may help.. Iβd look up natural ways or natural predators to rid them. Really hope you exterminate them suckers!! Good luck & sending love to your plant π€
@Artistic_Stoner yes! These dang things form on my lupines in the backyard. Every. Stinkin. Year. Itβs maddening!
Definitely looks like an aphid... I'm with Melisse! Get yourself some ladybirds (ladybugs if you're in the US π) put a big old Polly bag over the plant and release them... After a few days you can take the bag off (they tend to scatter! So bagging them in with the pests will concentrate them where you need them for a while. If they have a handy food source like that they're more likely to stick around but if you just release them freely they'll probably disappear on you π€£) xx
