Whats this guy growing in my PWP?
This little shoot has been growing up into this cataphyll since its leaf opened, what’s it deal? I haven’t noticed it on any of the others and it doesn’t look like an aerial root. Is it just shooting out a new, wiggly leaf? #Philodendron #philodendronwhiteprincess

@PlantJedi that’s what I was thinking too, I just didn’t even realized one growth point could produce two different stems?? I’m new to philodendrons in general, I rescued this one from a box store two months ago while she had a fungal infection and several rotting leaves. I don’t know if it’s relevant, but the fresh growth is growing along the cataphyll of a leaf that was damaged long before it came into my possession and one of the only remaining leaves from the original bunch
