Thank you. My Greg friends and I are doing our best to take care of this one of the tiniest cacti. This "green button" is very special to me. ๐ŸŒต๐Ÿ’š
How lovely are these outstanding succulents.๐Ÿ‘Œ Congratulations ๐Ÿ˜ƒ @Catplantaddict @FairyFly @Shells_Garden @Hoyaobsessed
@RJG I must say you are doing a tremendous job every Wednesday and of course Friday. So itโ€™s no surprise that sometimes little oopsyโ€˜s occur. Iโ€˜m just bringing it to your attention because we didnโ€™t get to see the splitting lithop. Since the first https://greg.app/post/36ZFL5 was double posted. Thanks for your continued support/help and encouragement! Stay warm!
@Ms.Persnickety is right. Can we see the post with the splitting lithop, please? @RJG
Yeah! I finally made one f the Greg posts haha! Thanks for the recognition!

@Prentyce Today she's even more green ๐ŸŒต๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
TY, will do. ๐Ÿค— @FairyFly
My first ever post is my new succulent, euphorbia monstrose. A very cacti looking guy. Am I doing this right? https://greg.app/post/2qkojl/excited-for-my-new-euphorbia-monstrose-my-first-time-growing-this-bb-any-tips-are-much-appreciated #SucculentLove #NewPlantMom
A baby Sansaveria birds nest fern that I rescued from a sick mother plant. I scraped out all the infected bits and sprinkled them with cinnamon. Hopefully this one will grow up strong and healthy now
@Kodaksplants Your care seams 2b ok. Just water less often: once every 20 days, and in Summer once a fortnight.
@Blueberrypie what kind of infection was it?
Last week succโ€™d! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฅฐ I bought 12 new succulent babies. All are healthy but Iโ€™m still learning how to care for them. Greg has been great to identify them for me.
@Blueberrypie wow, thatโ€™s awesome. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I have a baby that I separated too but without all the drama. Your baby is huge and looks healthy so keep us updated. I also wanted to say that I love your air plant in the lady ๐Ÿง˜ pot in the background. Nicely done!
My props are doing so well! I think it may be time to pot some of themโ€ฆ what do you think??
@SvelteKingfern thank you Sophie. Mine is new. I actually saw another memberโ€™s post and that plant was just too pretty, I had to have one. I found a great local Etsy seller and ordered so ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿปshe takes off! ๐Ÿ˜Š
@FairyFly I applaud you for being so brave which deserves a big shout out!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑIโ€™ve not ventured into the prickly sort of succulents or desert flowers yet!
Thank you for saying that @Shells_Garden, they seem to be the easiest lol.
@RJG thank you Drew for the mention! Another great week of outstanding features. @Catplantaddict Lithops sort of scare me but Iโ€™m so looking forward to seeing your progress. @SvelteKingfern not only is that turtle pot completely adorable but your baby is too. I can see the care and love from the photo. Canโ€™t wait to see her flower. @FairyFly as I said in another post, you are brave! Iโ€™m still shying away from the prickly succulents (I had a bad run in with them in my 20โ€™s while camping and the fire dept was pulling them out of my behind with tweezers๐Ÿคญ). @Hoyaobsessed How did you get your plant to flower? They are so delicate. Sheโ€™s so pretty. Congratulations to all of you for having some awesome babies
@SvelteKingfern OH MY GOODNESSS!!!! Eeeek!!๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŒฑ
@RJG thanks for featuring me! Here's what Brownie looks like right now.
@SvelteKingfern @Ms.Persnickety @Shells_Garden @FairyFly @Prentyce
@Catplantaddict OH MY GOODNESS!!! The legend๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿฅนwow thatโ€™s incredible photography too!! It literally looks like I can feel the texture! Just incredible ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐ŸŒฑ tysm!! Amazing ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅณ
@Prentyce thank you! I tried my best ๐Ÿ˜… though often it doesn't end up that great. But anyway, the texture is quite interesting! Have you ever felt lithops before? The sides are really smooth, but on the top, it is bumpy and reminds me of something like snakeskin, as it feels like a bunch of small scales.
@Catplantaddict oh no I have never!! Bahahah now I really want to! That is awesome๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒฑ excellent description too! I can definitely imagine the real thing now๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒฑ
@Shells_Garden light and watering is a vital combo with these hearts. I have killed several before I was able to grow them.
@Shells_Garden
Please, do not buy a planter like that for cacti/ succulents. I liked it at the beginning, but the sloped top makes it very hot in the Sun. This pot is definitely not for succulents that need a lot of Sun rays.
This cactus "Athena" is my first propagation. ๐Ÿค— @Shells_Garden
@SvelteKingfern thanks so much for the tip. Iโ€™ll keep in mind that the cutest pots arenโ€™t always the most practical pots!
@SvelteKingfern well thatโ€™s amazing and brave. It sounds hard
@Hoyaobsessed thank you for the insight and congratulations on getting it figured out! Itโ€™s the best feeling in the world to master the care of a plant youโ€™ve previously sent to its demise. My kryptonite seems to be Alocasia, Angel Wings or Taros!
@Catplantaddict wow just wow! It look like something from outer space but itโ€™s soo cool. ๐Ÿ˜Ž we are all waiting in anticipation for it to open now but they still scare me!!!๐Ÿ˜ณ
@Shells_Garden - That elephant ๐Ÿ˜ planter is the BEST!! I got one and I wanted to put my elephant bush in it, but it was too small, so I put a njoy prop in it! Now it has 5 leaves ๐Ÿฅฐ
The elephant bush got the hedgehog ๐Ÿฆ” pot โค๏ธ
๐Ÿ’œ lavender scallops is giving me babies and I didnโ€™t have to do a thing ๐Ÿ˜
๐Ÿฉท tri color jade is growing quickly
๐Ÿค ghost echeveria is sooooo pretty ๐Ÿคฉ
๐Ÿ’š black tie kalanchoe is finally starting to get some new leaves
๐Ÿฉต kalanchoe humilis/desert surprise is overcoming the mealies and has some new leaves coming in!

Right next to that is my tiger tooth aloe and it just gave me its first baby ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ YAYYYY ๐Ÿฅฐ
@JenniferNoel Jennifer both those pots are adorable. I bought the elephant as part of a succulent set. I think there is a sheep, raccoon, Cow, zebra and of course the elephant. They are so cute but I found them to be too small for anything but a tiny cutting! I will say you are my people and I definitely like your style. I have a satin pothos cutting in the Zebra pot. Sumatra is her name and sheโ€™s my work desk buddy! I almost bought that same hedgehog planter just last week. Itโ€™s so cute but I wasnโ€™t sure it would work well so I opted for one with Easter bunnies instead! It just arrived so Iโ€™m not sure what Iโ€™ll put in there yet.
@Shells_Garden - OHHHHH, I LOVE that little bunny ๐Ÿฐ pot ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ Itโ€™s sooo adorable!!
The kritter pots are just the BEST!
I also just got this frog and idk what to put in him yet ๐Ÿค” Maybe a prop or a ric rac cactus! I havenโ€™t decided yet!!
That 6 (and a fox) piece set is the cutest, but I see why they are labeled air plant holders! They are TINY, yet perfect for props and the smaller succs ๐Ÿ˜

And your satin looks AWESOME ๐Ÿคฉ
@Catplantaddict I can see the growth plainly ๐Ÿ‘Œ
@Shells_Garden
I'm adding extra insulation to protect from the heat. I'm definitely repotting next Spring.
@JenniferNoel oh my goodness! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™‰. You should not have posted these adorable pots!! Now I have to go search for them! Shame on you Jennifer!!! ๐Ÿคฃ
@JenniferNoel and I totally forgot about the Fox. I think heโ€™s out back in my plant graveyard with a dead something in him!
@Shells_Garden - Amazon finds girlfriend!! & hereโ€™s some more I have ๐Ÿฅฐ

And YOU have a plant graveyard?! ๐Ÿคฏ How is that even possible?? Your oasis is HEAVENLY AHHHHMAZING ๐Ÿคฉ
Thatโ€™s plant goals right there!!
Athena looks too cute! The pot is even more cute!
Nice job peeps what beautiful picks Drew has today !
@SvelteKingfern Iโ€™m not exactly sure. It just turned brown and yellow out of nowhere. This is the mother plant:(
That's a hard one (I assume you were doing everything right). Is the mother plant still alive? @Blueberrypie
@SvelteKingfern yea, Iโ€™ve been watering every week or two for several months with no problems and then one day it just took a turn. It might be rust disease, there was some reddish spots on the baby that I picked off. I tried to work on the mother plant but she didnโ€™t make a recovery โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน
Right. Just continue treatment for rust on the mother and the baby for at least 2 months. Rust (fungus) may not be visible on the surface, but microscopically it can be there on the "skin" and a bit beneath. @Blueberrypie
Once damaged, damaged forever. Sadly @Blueberrypie
@SvelteKingfern thx for the info!
You're welcome @Blueberrypie
Athena!!!!!!
