Our huge lilies bloomed this week. I love how big the blooms are ☺️ the usual ones I see around town are much smaller. Unfortunately the wind here might destroy them pretty fast ;-;

#FreshLeafFriday #FreshFeaturedFriday #GregGang As usual I missed Fresh leaf Friday but that’s okay. There are a few plants that want to show off their new leaves! First there’s the Moth Orchid’s new leaf. And the Burgundy Ficus is in the process of unfurling a leaf. The Golden Pothos has a happy new leaf.  The Philodendron Black Cardinal is in the very early stage of unfurling a fresh leaf. And bringing up the rear is the Whale Fin Sansevieria with a little leaf.  Seems that some of the Plants are happy with gives me great joy 🤩!

Good morning!

Every month or so, I spray the inside and outside of the leaves on most of my plants with Neem.

It's really a miracle worker on some pests and cleans the leaves to make them look shiny and beautiful!

The biggest exception is Prince...my Silver Dragon🐉...who does not ever like to be touched or anything put on his leaves...lol!

@CutePolypremum Interesting, I had read somewhere that plants don’t actually like to be touched. But we can’t ask, well we could but would we get an answer?? Maybe just from the Mimosas! I have this stuff called leaf shine and use on the Ficus every once in a while that way I don’t have to touch the leaves. But I have to admit that most of the plants are very neglected when it comes to dusting them off. I hate anything that resembles housework. I could use a HausFrau😅😂🤣!

I'm very lucky and blessed that my best friend comes over every 2 weeks and does a deep clean, plus always does a little interior decorating to add some beauty to my apartment 😊 ✨️ ❤️ 💕

So...I was just thinking 🤔 about spraying leaves 🍃 with Neem and to share with you that I first move the plant away from the grow lights so the leaves don't burn.

It's usually done when moving some of them to water, cause it's just easier that way.

Then, I spray the leaves enough until they drip, leaving them in indirect light for about 5 hours.

There's no need to wipe them down or dust them. Everything is removed!

My diffenbachia plant is yellowing and browning and I’m losing leaves. I just watered it today per the app recommendation but please help me 😭
