Just rolled in some of what I like to have in stock.

➡️ GE #GrowLights

➡️ Rooting hormone
powder mix
➡️ Duster for powder

➡️ Plant food/rooting
liquid

➡️My soil mix for aroids
Orchid bark
Tropical potting mix
Worm Castings
Cocoa Coir
Perlite

➡️Leca from #Ikea ((💖 Thanks to @sarahsalith reminder...pick up MORE leca🤣))

➡️ Gloves
I agree with you! Some good shears are definitely on my list. I also want to try those honeycomb trellises, even if they're not necessarily the perfect trellis...I just like them. 😊 And new pots are *always* good...I usually cheap out on cute pots and just get basic plastic ones, but this wish list doesn't have a budget 🤣 Also many more WallyGrow Pots...my pothos is loving it and I want to hang more plants.

Two of my favorite plant books are The Indestructible Houseplant and The Unexpected Houseplant (both by Tovah Martin). Not so much as how-to books, though there are instructions. I just love how she writes about plants - like talking to a friend - and they give me ideas for new plants to try. Though some of her so-called indestructible ones are definitely kill-able 😂
Ever since I found this YouTuber last week I decided that what he does for his plants I NEEDS TO DO FOR MY PLANTS. 🥲
He grows his climbing plants to maturity using moss poles he makes
This video is a Cebu blue pothos 😱 I didn’t realize this was possible inside a house but it is! https://youtu.be/kvuYLJjPEpg
The pics are some of his philodendrons 🥹
So now I need all the equipment to make these poles 🥲
@PlantingPeace omg I follow him too and his plants are soo large!! I need to watch his videos to lean his process!
I also am in need of good shears and would love some very pretty trellises and moss poles! I would also love a light meter to grab some readings around the house. Finally, I would love some plant stands! This is such a cool question and I’m interested to see what others say 💚
@Nataliesplants yea! 😮‍💨 his collection is soooo gorgeous! 🤩 I’m glad I found him 🥲 I learned so much about moss poles now 🥰 I hope you get a chance to watch the videos! They’re sooo informative 🤗
@PlantingPeace good to know I’ll make them more of a priority! Haha he’s the whole reason I bought a splendid
I agree with all your plant-related wish list items Janai, always on the lookout for cute pots 🥰
@Nataliesplants 🤣 omg he’s the reason I bought a Philodendron Glorious today, had to do some calling around but found 🥲 I wish I had more patience to wait till next year 😅 it’s getting increasingly dangerous to order plants from northern colder states 🫠🤣🫣
@PlantingPeace we must have similar tastes in plants because I bought my glorious like two weeks ago! It also took me a while to find and it’s a starter plant sooo I have a few years to learn his ways 😂. Also this sounds dumb but I didn’t even think about the fact that while it’s warm here it’s not in the other colder states I’ll have to pay more attention when ordering.
Pots all day!
@Nataliesplants omg! Mine is a baby too!!! 🥰 I rather it grows up where I live from a baby than have to try and aclimate as a older plant bc they’re more expensive and have more to lose at that point, so I’d say it’s smart ! 🤣 But yea, it’s warm here too, so I get nervous if it has a heat pack, will it get nuked once it moves from cold place to transit closer to me? 🤔 maybe @jcPlantProper knows better how heat packs behave in transit since she in south Florida too. Will a heat pack kill the plant by over heating if it’s in a warm climate already? Assuming it left from a cold climate. 👀
@PlantingPeace yes omggg ! Plants LOVE to climb
@PlantingPeace some heat packs are 2 days and some are 3. So if it’s in a cold place they should use a 2 days heat pack
➡️ Sphagnum moss, but I can't find it locally, so I'll have to order. I use it for poles and my props.

➡️ Natria

➡️ Rubbing Alcohol

➡️ Magnifying glass to catch any pests in action

➡️ Small spray bottle for rubbing alcohol to watch said pets diiiiiiiiie🤣

➡️ Dr Bronners soap to wash off my babies

➡️ 2.5 Gallon and gallon ziplock baggies for my frugal humidity tent 🤭

➡️ #DollarTree nursery pots (especially the 5")

➡️Bamboo stakes

....🤦🏿‍♀️... plants have OFFICIALLY taken over my #crazyplantlady life. I have more that I keep stocked but then I'll sound even more crazy like @RJG 😳😬🤭
@AwesomePlants omg you have all the things! Rooting hormones and gloves!
@AwesomePlants omg this is so perfect of a list. This is like plant 101
Last one🤦🏿‍♀️
Definitely soil mixes! Fancy pots! Some shelves so I can make more room for more plants! 💚And like 100 jugs of distilled water 😅😅
I’m into cute pots cause I never was before. And more plants…..I used to just take care of what I had and not think a lot about getting more houseplants until Greg. You people have spoiled me!
Grow lights, clippers, cute pots, definitely books and plant food. More shelving is always good. All in good time I recon.
@PlantingPeace #Ecuagenera

If you want to get into #Philodendron you'll want to get to know them. See one of my #Ecuagenera posts for a breakdown of the different sites. Most of my philos have come from them that you can't find orher places or not as inexpensive as them.
@AwesomePlants ooo! Thanks for the recommendation 😄 I’ll deff keep them in mind for my next search 😉
Some planty odds and ends I’ve been tempted by, so they went on the wishlist 😂
You know, I've been eyeballing those bendable moss poles- does anyone use them? Do you like them?
At the top of my list are moss poles that don't take up half the pot.

During Prime days I got new shears and new digging tools so I hope to be able to break them out soon and pot up some of my recent acquisitions.

I also love plant books and resent added Plant Coach to my list. I see it on your shelf- is it good?
@hoyahead the suction cup things!!!
@tmbryant37 he sent us a ton that went out to some of his plant friends and we had some extra! Haha so I got one. It’s super informative and from a different perspective. And it’s pretty colorful
Definitely gonna pick it up then. It seems really well done so I'm hoping it's as helpful as I think it will be
@tmbryant37 I can send you a few pics of the inside later when I’m home?
If you remember that'd be great, but you've already sold me on it 🤣
This
@Boymom-plantmom oooooo!!! I like that
Moisture meter + pots!! 😍
Also tiny scissors! I use cuticle ones like I saw @sarahsalith using! They are amazing! I have like 4 pair!
@AwesomePlants try clonex rooting gel if you haven’t. It’s awesome. Not that others are necessarily bad or anything. But clonex is definitely proven to be awesome. I still want some of the forged Corona brand shears even though I don’t need them. Lol. And some moss poles. And always need more rabbit hill farms soilless cactus mix. Thunderhead potting mix is always awesome also.
plant stand and shelves
@hellokatelandia look into the corona brand forged shears if you want some of the best ones. I have the fiskars and they’re not bad. But I still want the forged corona brand because they’re better. They’ll last forever but fiskars has a lifetime warranty
i really need moss poles for some of my plants and a desktop grow light 😩😩
@Boymom-plantmom I need that in my life!!
@sarahsalith I’ve seen those flexible moss poles too, and I love the idea of them, but haven’t tried them 🙈 If you do try them out, I’d love to hear how it goes!

Next spring after I move, I’m really going to focus on showcasing my plants instead of just hoarding them 🙈 So my wishlist includes:

- A really nice set of bonsai tools with a nice tool roll

- Enough moss poles for all my large climbers

- Wall clips for a couple of smaller climbers

- Driftwood to use as a trellis

- More plant shelves

- A couple floor lamps that I can put grow bulbs in

- More grow lights to place around the apartment to spread out the collection

- A “real” propagation station instead of random yogurt jars tucked among the plants
I just finished buying all this on Amazon! I’m looking forward to these cute prop. Vases. They’re like 3 inches tall. I use this garden tool set that has 83 pieces and I loveeeee it. It’s all great quality 😭😍

@AwesomePlants 😍😍 I need your plant supply stash!!
@AwesomePlants OMG that’s a lot of stuff
Never enough macramé , also I have seen a lot of just water growning so I would like some supplies for that. Prop stations are always great. Also 47 different types of dirt and fertilizer!!
The book is beautiful 😍

water soluble seed tape to plant tiny seeds (lithops. etc). been on my wish list for a while so I can plant in a more controlled fashion instead of hoping the seeds settled where I wanted 😂.

a simple item I’d recommend is chopsticks. super useful for repotting because they can punch through any soil clumps while still being gentle on roots. I keep a dedicated pair of metal sticks in my daily plant care tool kit
@SirLiquorice I prop mostly in sphagnum now, but when I do prop in water, I use Clonex gel
@PlantingPeace can sydneyplantguy count as a plant supplies wish list? 🙃
@AwesomePlants I have used clonex for any type of cuttings in any medium with good results. Even just right into the cactus mix directly after. So you should be able to use it for that as well. But there’s no one right answer to anything. Try everything until you see what works best for you. What works best for one person may not work as good for another. But I haven’t heard any bad results with clonex. I really need to find good moss poles now
@AwesomePlants Holy cow that’s a lot of 💩 crap 😂😅 I don’t have any room to store everything I have so for now it’s out in the open, oh well
@ESylvanus I use the 5 arm flexible floor lamp from Walmart to put my grow light bulbs in. If you have wire shelving, you can also hang the tube lighting.
@A.J. If you're near an #Ikea or order there, they have leca for less than $7.

Check out this ODLA from IKEA.
Here’s a little more information:

@eksi 🤣 I was referring to his moss poles, so yea! 😜
@AwesomePlants Ah, cool! I’ll be sure to check those out! 😄
@AwesomePlants we do not have an ikea here but I probably could order some!!! Ty
@jcPlantProper i have gloves but forget to use them so my nails look like a coal miners 😆
