Oh god, what now?! 😫

Does anyone know what these little round yellowish things are on my Cissus Discolor??
I’m telling ya, I can not take another infestation of some kind!! It’s just literally the last thing I need to be dealing with.
Last night was not a good night plant wise. I had to cut my Purple Passion basically down to the dirt bc it had such a horrible slide mite infestation, it wasn’t even worth trying to save…like it was that far gone. I have it up high so that when it gets really long, I can position it to frame the windows in my dinning room, so I don’t get a really good close up look at it unless I pull out my step ladder and go up! It had been a while sense I’d done that to my dismay and by the time I saw it from ground level, as you all can imagine it was REALLY bad. I had to cut it all down😭
Anyway, in addition to the spider mites on my Purple Passion, I also found these things on my Cissus Discolor!! I tried to look it up online last night but couldn’t find a whole lot, however what I did find, whatever these things are, they seem@to happen on this specific plant. All of the picture I found last night with the same things on the leaves where all pictures of Cissus Discolor. Could it be somehow related to their growth process?! Just please don’t tell me I’m dealing with another infestation of some kind… #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #PetsAndPlants #PlantCorner #PetsAndPlants #GregGang #GreggersSupportingGreggers #Greggers #GregFam #PestControl #pestID
It might be some sort of edema🤔 It looks like the "bumps" are a part of the leaf and is a bump from the underside and a hump from the top if you know what I mean?😅 It reminds me of some of my young tomatoe plant last year. They got something similar but my bumps were inverted compared to yours😅. I think it was just them having well developed roots compared to the leaves so they drank too much🙈 As they grew older new leaves emerged that didn't get this damage without me changing anything🤷‍♀️
@MockingJay ya know, I didn’t think to see if they are something that “comes off” if you will lol….like can they be wiped away? lol…I didn’t want to touch them, so I’m not sure…lol. I’m at work right now, but when I go home I’ll have to check and update my post with that info…
@PioneerRutabaga I did a quick google-search and found another post here on greg with some answers:

There are lots of pics similar to yours online, it seems this occurrence is pretty normal for Cissus.
Just found this description:
"The leaves and stems produce a natural secretion, tiny opaque dots, called cystolyths. These little crystals are sometimes thought to be pests, but are not harmful."
Based on the picture, the plant looks like a Cissus discolor, also known as a Velvet Plant or Bicolour Ivy. The bumps you see on the leaves are actually a natural part of the plant's growth. They are called trichomes and help the plant retain moisture and regulate its temperature.
As long as the bumps are not discolored or causing the leaves to look unhealthy, there's no need to worry. To keep your Cissus discolor healthy, provide it with bright, indirect light, water it regularly, and maintain moderate humidity.
