Hoss (Exp. 01) still isn't thriving in his soil home, but his pothos buddies sure are thrilled about it! Lol (I honestly probably started him in too big of a pot...) Recently gave him a wee trim, cutting off the end of his only branch in hopes it would help him create more branches... He now has two lil terminal buds coming in! 🥹 I was honestly hoping he would branch out more from his trunk, but this is cool too.

Waterboy (Exp. 02) is doing great! (His leaves are a bit torn up because the door to the plant room got left open and I have a very naughty kitty. She's fine tho, don't worry.) I recently pinched off his only terminal bud which looks to have caused at least three axillary buds to have started growing into terminal buds! Once each branch gets two sets of leaves on it, I'll be pinching the terminal buds off the ends of those as well! Waterboy here will never get a "proper" haircut like Hoss and some of the others. He will only ever get his new growth pinched off. Bonsai style. Lol
And our dear little Thomas (Exp. 05) has finally grown his first set of leaves! I'm so proud of him... 🥲🖤 His first leaf came out a bit wonky, but I think we all expected him to be a bit wonky based on his pit... Lol He's been living in the corner of a West facing windowsill that gets a shit ton of bright indirect light and the tiniest bit of direct light in the afternoons. I rotate him almost daily, hence his curvy trunk... I also water him at least once a week... He's a thirsty boy in his tiny 3" pot! I'm gonna leave him in this pot for a while tho and eventually I'm gonna start trying some different bonsai type methods on him to see how smol I can keep him!

@WickedValkyrie Kyera, congratulations on your experiments. I have failed on everyone I tried. What is your secret for growing them from rooting the seed and on from there?

Hi @TwistedThreads I honestly don't have a secret...🙂 I've just done a ton of different experiments. Each one is cared for slightly differently...
I think The main factor in my successes (there have been a few failures) is simply climate. I live in SoCal. There's a town about 20 minutes from me that claims to be the "Avocado Capital of The World"... Lol
