powdery mildew on my prayer plant?

hey y'all! i received this prayer plant as a gift a couple days ago. i think it may have some powdery mildew on the leaves, but i'm unsure. could someone identify what this is & how to treat it?
i am also considering getting fungicide3 just in case, but it contains neem oil, which is toxic to cats. is it safe for me to use if i spray it outdoors, give the affected plant/s some time to air out, then bring them back inside? #powderymildew #fungusamongus #fungal #prayerplant

This is a beautiful plant 🪴. You will enjoy watching it grow. The white marks that you are seeing looks like water marks or residue from fertilizer. You can just wash off the leaves really good and it should be fine. Enjoy nurturing this beauty

thanks so much @NurseGardener! i was nervous about damaging the plant if i wash the leaves, but i'll try that. is there anything you'd recommend i wash it with, besides just water?
