It’s hard to see the soil, but these guys like cactus potting mix and dry between watering. Be sure to have drainage.

@UncommonBonsi it looks like it could use fresh soil. Do you let it dry out between watering? This plant doesn’t like to sit in wet soil. So a drainage hole is also super helpful.
