What is the best leaf shine?!

Hey Planty Friends!! 🪴 what’s your go to method for shining your leaves?! DIY or a product? Is there anything out there that shines and provides nutrients? #LeafShine #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #care
I'm glad you found Greg, Kristen! I've heard of folks making their own with water and lemon juice and a bit of mayonnaise, but after I did that for a while, I started to wonder if it was good for my plants so I stopped. Miracle gro also makes one for indoor plants.

I have found that cleaning my plants' leaves with warm water and a bit of soap works the best for me. I love using Dr. Bronner's soap. The peppermint smells so good and keeps some pests away!

I hope someone can help you out with more so you can get the answer you're looking for!
I mix castile soap and peppermint essence, apply with a soft cloth, acts as a bug repellent and also smells lovely and makes the leaves so shiny! I wouldn't use any of the store ones personally as I have read they block the photosynthesis of the leaves after it builds up.
@KirstenLynneCo I buy a special preparation which has neem oil, lemon myrtle, eucalyptus (Australian native oils) and worm juice, amongst other ingredients. It has a lovely smell, helps with pests and helps to make the leaves lovely and shiny. But I don't think it's available in eg USA
