Is this African violet ok
I just reported this African violet and now she is very sprawled. Itβs not in a bad way though. Could it be because I just watered after she received little to no water after a very long time?

Last watered 1 month ago
I'm not familiar with this plant but my first guess is it's not getting enough light. I've had succulents become etiolated which is what this reminds me of (not sure if it's a term specific to succulents). Move closer to a light source but still keep it in indirect bright light to prevent burning if its a south-facing window. Best of luck! π€πͺ΄π
@ballondusoleil ok, I just got it from a big box store so that does make sense. I just put it under a grow light. I love that aeonium goddess variegata cristata. Would you mind sharing where you got it.
@LucidAgapanthus great you've got a grow light, Beau! Hopefully it'll start to fill out properly. I think African violets can be propagated, so you could try propping the longer leaves when/if you decide to trim it for shape.
Thanks for asking about my plant! It's way better in person so I'm glad my photo at least captures some of its good looks! It was shipped to me last summer from Serres Lavoie in Quebec, Canada. Can't remember how I found their site but when I saw it I couldn't resist. When I did a search for more care info, a few US sellers popped up including on Ebay. Not a cheap plant but I've not regretted it. Planning to plant it with some Spanish Lavender for my apartment balcony, it gets all the south-facing sunshine.

@ballondusoleil yes, I found them outside In Illinois.
