Cut the baby off from the stem with sharp secateurs. Yours has a very healthy crop of roots!

In southeast asia, we use charcoal, sometimes in baskets, or just the basket and no substrate at all, but coco chips or bark works too
One thing you can try is placing the broken stem into sphagnum, with some keiki paste. The chances of babies forming is kinda low, but worth a shot
Oh wow! Lovely πŸ€—
@Araceae oh thank you for this. πŸ™Very helpful. Do all the keiki roots need to be in soil/ charcoal or do I leave some roots out?
@WiseLilac69 no not necessarily so. You don't have to have some roots out too. They don't care [which is why we sometimes grow them in baskets without substrate]
