When will she turn pink?

#Philodendron This is my first pink princess and it's still only a small plant. It only has the tiniest little speck of pink on one of its leaves but other than that there's no other pink variation.

How long does it take for them to start having pink variation on their leaves? Do they need to be more mature or a bigger plant? Is there anything I can do to help the plant along? #pinkprincessphilodendron #plantpeach

Hey Emily ๐Ÿ‘‹

In my experience PPPs generally come with either very high or lower levels of variegation that change from plant to plant, but the best way to encourage variegation is to make sure she had the best light you can give her!

Mine is under a Sansi (sorry, plant lights are off at the moment coz it's nearly midnight UK time! Lol so I can't show you mine!) and I recently put her on a pole (because they are climbers at heart!) ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’š and they love humidity!

Who of you get your the this right she'll grow faster, stronger and give you all the link she can... And I can see pinky bits running through her leaves so it is in there!!

Xx
Iโ€™m having issues with mine also. Itโ€™s purple lol. I think mine was getting way too much artificial light. Iโ€™ve moved it to the floor away from the light. Hoping that helps
It seams to be changing to pink and green. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ anyway I think light and maybe even fertilizer maybe it. Do you fertilize? Iโ€™m wondering fertilizer because of my deformed leaf.
Hereโ€™s my krohniana super silver after being to close to the same light. It has a slight pink tint ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚. Itโ€™s hard to see in pics but I think you can
@Jessejohn ooh I love it! This is mine.
@Jessejohn how long had you had your PPP before it opened its first pink leaf?, beautiful BTW ๐Ÿ˜
The light is the key!! Mine gets about 20 minutes of full early morning sun, and she lives under a grow light. The more light she gets... the more pink she will be!!
