Skinny Snake Plant

#Dracaena does anyone know why my snake plant has become so skinny? There are a few leaves that are still wide, but most of them are tall and rolled up?

I’m a new snake plant owner so I’m not sure if this is normal?

I remember reading somewhere that they get long and thin if they don't have enough light. 🌿💚

How often do you water it? It might be underwatered

@PetsNPlants I typically water once a week or so, whenever the first inch of soil gets dry

@LuxuryMint That could make sense, I recently moved it closer to the window, so maybe it just needs some time!

Hopefully it will appreciate the higher light levels 😊
However the leaves that are already there can't change their shape, so it will only be new leaves which will be wider. So don't give up, because these plants are slow growing. 💚🌿
