Why do so many leaves fall each time I water my #peperomi...

13ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 7 months ago
I would recommend letting it dry out over time, watering less and less. Check the soil humidity before you water too, with a finger or stick !!! I think that overwatering/pests may be the problem (n_n)
@ScarletMoon I suspect too much water. And needing to be closer to indirect light will be the two problems. The plant looks healthy otherwise. Check soil prior to watering always , as it may not need more water. Top should be dry to touch and approx 2” down. Hopefully this will help out! Keep us posted with hashtags so others will learn as well!! πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ» you got this!! Welcome to Greg!
Hi, Scarlet. Aother reason the leaves can fall is the opposite- the soil is getting too dry. Is rhe plant usually sitting in water or do you allow it to dry well between waterings?

This is a really fragile plant to begin with, so don't be too hard on yourself. I also see new growth so those leaves could be older and spent.

I also thought that it was overwatered. So, I made sure that it was dry with the moisture meter and I even removed a dry leaf. But whenever I water it loses 5-8 leaves each time and after that, it's perfectly fine till the next watering.

I remember having one of these plants before and not having this type of problem πŸ₯²

Also, it keeps pulling new leaves everywhere, but I haven't seen any of it survived so far 😫

Thank you for your support 🫢❀️
This happened to me today. Four 🌿 gone!
Question, can I wash off the leaves and stick them back in the soil to re-root?
