Uh-oh yellow leaves on Monstera adansonii

She was doing sooooo well, but in the last week she's had the leaves yellowing. I already removed one leaf, then two more are turning yellow. I love this plant and don't want to lose her.
I haven't seen any pests, however really having trouble setting, hopefully my sight will improve after surgery tomorrow.
Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. TIA #monsteraadonsonii #monstera #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #crazyplantlady #greggers #wearegregory #greggang

@Sassylimey try ignoring greg for a couple weeks ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ
Pick a day of the week and only water her in THAT day. I swear it worked for me. Let me get a pic of how she looks now. She was literally down to 2 leaves.
I just did mine u had to yellow leaves had to cut then off soil is to wet. So I replanted gave her new soil hopefully there will be no more
When this happened to me in the fall people said it needed more light.

I ended up chopping and propping as well and got one yellow leaf while getting the watering schedule right.

Am I correctly seeing that it is lower leaves?
I had the same issue with mine not to long ago. Ended with only 3 leaves left and one very long stem @Sassylimey. 10 inches long with one leaf on the end. Very strange. It's growth seems to have stalled. Praying, you will have a great outcome from your surgery. I had a total knee on Friday so far, so good.
@PlantMompy yes one is a lower leaf and the other is just below what I had chopped her last year.
@Stall54Jo I hope your knee recovers quickly, I had my right shoulder replaced years ago! Tomorrow is my second cataract surgery, I had cataracts removed 3 years ago, now have secondary cataracts, first eye surgery tomorrow the second eye will be on the 16th. It will be good to see clearly again.
I know that will be a blessing TO SEE CLEARLY AGAIN. Will keep you in my prayers for sure . GOD BLESS YOU @Sassylimey
Thank you Joann. I'll keep your knee in prayer. GOD BLESS YOU ALSO ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ @Stall54Jo
Best wishes for your surgery and your recovery @Stall54Jo
Last year I got an aglaonema that started getting yellow leaves at an alarming rate. Research said it could be a nutrient deficiency, so I gave it a dose of plant food and the yellowing stopped. Probably not common but just a possibility.
@Sassylimey donโ€™t feel bad I lost mine to the yellowing of the leaves. They are so darn finicky.

Wishing you luck on your surgery. We will be praying ๐Ÿ™ for you. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•
Mines started declining and losing leaves and yellowing and I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and realized I was underwatering it... apparently they really like consistency also.. so I try to water it every Monday or Tuesday despite what greg says and it's given me a bunch of new leaves. I had chopped it down to literally 2 leaves. I propped the stem I chopped and added it back in later. Now it's nice and pretty.

Thank you @Tropicalgia @KikiGoldblatt
Surgery done, eye is doing good. Next Monday the other eye, yay clear vision again ๐Ÿ‘€
@ManyLime thank you, I do water her according to Greg. I'm hoping they were just spent leaves. I don't want to lose her ๐Ÿ˜ฐ I removed the two leaves and am hoping she'll be ok.
@Sassylimey
This is what ignoring Greg and just watering her every Monday got me. From 2 leaves to this!
I almost lost mine as well, and guessed it was the soil it came in. I repotted in the recommended soil mix, placed it under a grow light, and added plant food once/month to the watering rotation (once every 7-10 days based on pot size) - as mine looked more like nutrient deficiency vs. overwatering to me.
