yellow leaves? :(
#GoldenPothos i’m having an issue with yellowing leaves on a few of my pothos, why is this happening and what can i do to fix it??
5ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 weeks ago
Sometimes they just yellow. If it's just one or two, I wouldn't worry about it.

Sometimes yellowing can be from over watering, but if you have good soil and a PokΓ©mon terracotta pot with drainage, that shouldn't be an issue.

How does the soil feel? Is it very dry?
@sarahsalith it does feel pretty dry, but i only water it about once every week and a half-2 weeks. overwatering was my original thought too. do you think reporting it in new soil would be beneficial?
@allysonwonderland what I would do before you repot is bottom water for a good hour or so to see if you can kick-start that soil into retaining water again.

I you saturate the soil and then go back to your schedule, you'll be able to tell if the soil is retaining moisture.

Pothos are pretty tough plants and they can stand to dry out, but just not for too long.
@sarahsalith ooooh okay!! i didn’t even think about that! thank you so much!! :D
@allysonwonderland you are so welcome! I'm glad you found Greg. πŸ’š
Pothos are pretty herdyπŸ˜ƒ They easily make a comeback. The only other thing I have to add to @sarahsalith is that you might want to check to see if it’s rootbound?οΏΌ
I’m sooo scared to grow them in soil for this reason
Love the pot 😍
Remove the yellow leaves. The plant will kill itself trying to heal the yellow ones.
@sarahsalith Thanks for the great advice!
@PrettyBlooms thank you!!! πŸ₯° i love painting them!!
LOVE THE POT! Smart!!!!
