Fonky leaves on Anthurium leaves?
Anyone know why my Anthurium waroc baby has these funky leaves? They look almost deformed. If this the lack of air flow? It's in a little bell jar with the rubber seal removed so that the top is only loosely covering it, coz according to the seller the seedlings love much more humidity. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #PlantTherapy #Anthurium #AnthuriumQueen #AnthuriumQueen #QueenAnthurium #Warocqueanum #AnthuriumWarocqueanum

The high humidity wouldn't do that.
What is she planted in? Usually they get wrinkled leaves from over or underwatering. Or being inconsistent when watering.
The other cause could be that is those leaves are pushed up against the sides as they are sprouting that can cause some damage since they are fragile when new. Since the leaves are sticking out over the sides that is your likely cause. I would try something bigger than the small lid. Be creative do you have a cake dome sitting around, a large jar, something transparent to cover her with that is a bit bigger. Or if you have a humidifier you can stick her next to it.

@SuperbRaspfern she's in an aroid [maybe pon] mix of what looks like perlite, fine bark and crushed lava. I haven't repotted her into my conventional mix, coz of how small she is. Her holding container is actually exactly what you recommended, a cookie jar with the rubber thing removed. I currently have her in a takeaway smoothie cup with a hole in the lid to see if it makes a difference. She's not exactly watered, i just have her sitting in a shallow pool of water, because if i didn't i'd be watering twice daily. I don't think it's overwatering tho, the mix is too airy and the seller uses this mix with all their anthuriums and no issue. The leaves don't even come close to touching the walls too
Are you watering from the top at all. Because although perlite can absorb water. Bark and lava are both more for aeration and drainage so I'm wondering if it's underwatered with those materials. You may be better off moving it to your conventional mix that you know holds enough water. I'm just not sure she's able to access enough water and the material is pulling enough water up to her roots.
Your setup looks great for humidity! ๐ฉท

@SuperbRaspfern the thing is, the mix remains moist all the time in my setup, but not wet. So i don't think it's under or overwatering
@Araceae She looks incredibly healthy besides that. Since we know she has great humidity and the watering is good. Then it must be shock. That can cause the wrinkled look as well. How long have you had her? If you got her recently she may just be using her extra energy to adapt to her new condition and lighting. It can take a while for them to settle in.
I know some of my anthuriums took a couple months to settle in. Also the smaller they are the less root systems and energy they have to draw from. That makes them a bit slower to put out perfect looking leaves.

Almost doesnt seam possible that it would need 2 waterings a day in a sealed enviroment.
