How to make them healthy?

#Betel how shall I resolve this issue? What is the cause of this issue? Why are my betel leaves shrinking?

@thatduskywoman Welcome to the Greg community! Here are some potential problems that could be affecting your plant. If any of these issues are the cause you need to take appropriate action. 1. Environmental Stress:
Temperature:
Red Betel plants prefer temperatures between 20ยฐC to 30ยฐC (68ยฐF to 86ยฐF). Temperatures outside this range can cause curling and shrinking.
Humidity:
These plants thrive in high humidity (60-80%). Low humidity can lead to leaf curling and browning.
Light:
Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light can cause leggy growth and small, pale leaves. Aim for bright, indirect light.
2. Watering Problems:
Overwatering: Can lead to root rot, which can cause drooping and curling leaves.
Underwatering: Also causes leaves to curl and droop as the plant tries to conserve water.
3. Other Potential Issues:
Pests: Aphids and other pests can cause curling leaves.
Nutrient deficiencies: Lack of essential nutrients can lead to leaf curling and yellowing.
Disease: Fungal or bacterial diseases can also cause leaf issues.
How to Fix It:
Adjust temperature and humidity: Ensure the plant is in a room with appropriate temperatures and humidity.
Water properly: Let the topsoil dry out between waterings to avoid overwatering, but also ensure the plant gets enough water.
Provide the right light: Move the plant to a location with bright, indirect light.
Inspect for pests: If you find pests, treat them with appropriate measures.
Test soil: Check for nutrient deficiencies and address them with appropriate fertilizer.
Consider repotting: If the plant is rootbound, repotting into a larger container can help. Hope this helps, Happy Growing!!
