New growth from every single node.

Hello everyone, meet Elina. Just re-poted her in a bigger pot.
I was thinking of making her vine through the soil before making her climb up thr moss stick.
Please check this shoot, there's new grown coming out of every single node.
How can I make this hug the soil?
And is it normal?
10ft to light, indirect
12” pot with drainage

That’s exciting! As it vines it is definitely ok for it to be placed back into soil to create a fuller plant. You can use pins to keep the nodes in place until it begins to root.
Beautiful! They put out aerial roots when they are happy…and ready to climb! πŸͺ΄
I use toothpicks crossed over the vine to help hold her in place. But you can use bobby pins, paperclips... I do love a nice strong base plant before having it Vine out. #plantsmakepeoplehappy
@SilkenGrasspea @LucrativeHedera I normally use Bobby pins. But a little problem is this vine has new leaves growing out of every single node. If I use Bobby pins the new leaves will be burried and I'm worried, that'll rot the new leaves.
@RomanticCowpea Got it! That looks like a very happy plant! I would probably just try to loosely pin it so the leaves are facing up and let the roots make their way into the soil. You could also chop and prop, but it looks healthy and happy right now!
