Do I cut the dead looking leaves

#Guzmania I just inherited this plant I dont know know much about it. It looks like on the 3 plants 1 has nice red leaves but the other 2 look dead in the middle. Do I prune those off? Do they grow back?

Bromeliads are monocarpic, meaning that they die after they bloom and reproduce. The bloom that isn’t dead may be an offshoot of one of the other two dead ones. I’d consider repotting and separating them, but keep an eye out for young offshoots hiding amongst the leaves!
