Help needed

Hello plant friends! I am new to this group. I got this little lipstick plant from a friend last year and I was super excited to see it flowering last month. Now I am having problems with some bugs and it already lost quite a few leaves. I think they come from little flies and the maggots get inside the leaves. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them? I heard about systemic pesticides.

Sytemic insecticide granules is great for preventative measures and supplement for other insecticides. But its slow working so not grest for infestations. Probably neem oil is your best bet for something natural. But you could use a 3in 1 fungicide insecticide miticide like copper jacks for the best results
Any 3 in 1 plant spray , but i like the 3 in 1 with copper . Or you could even go to 5in 1 bayer
That nemm max is a 4 in 1
Thank you for your suggestion @TheConservator. After a bit more internet research and checking my plant, I actually believe it's a fungi. So far I only used insecticide. Since it's starting to spread quite rapidly it's time to take some action.
