Sarracenia crown turning grey and has white growths

Hi everyone!

I’ve just returned from holiday to find that my Sarracenia leucophylla’s crown has started turning grey and a white fuzzy growth has appeared.
Bubbles have also formed around the base of the pot.

The plant has two crowns, the larger is the one which is affected, the smaller looks healthy and is throwing up new growth.

I assume this is something to be concerned about so what do I do?

@Kileskus Hi Frogpot! I would set it in some bright sun for a couple hours and see what happens. When my carnivorous plants have any kind of fungus or pest, I touch the spot only with some neem oil and set them in the sun. With a q-tip, just touch the places you are concerned about only! That has worked for me several times in the past for a couple different types but the sun is needed the most I would say. It’s what I would do if it was my plant- I sincerely wish you the best of luck! πŸͺ΄πŸŒΌ
