Propagation tips!!
Hi! My trailing jade has THRIVED in its south facing window, and it’s tendrils are almost 2’ long! I want to propagate and share with my friends - has anyone found a method that works best?? I’m used to water-propagating but I’m not sure if this is the best method with a succulent type plant. Any tips/tricks welcome!

@vvvelo do you have any ideas for her? I prop in succulent soil on succulents and mist the soil every 5 days.

@KikiGoldblatt @sarahsalith thank you!! I have started some stem/leaf cuttings a few days ago, as well as an experimental water propagation. Glad to know I’m on the right track!! I have a lot of succulent props that I’ve done just on soil. So fun to watch them grow 😊

For Jade plants water propagation is the best method if you plan to do it with stems. If you’d like to propagate from leaves then try to propagate just putting a leaf on a dry soil.
