Hi @toiya13 Pearl is adorable πŸ₯° and I love it because it’s also my dog’s name 🐢 😊. So I’m wondering why you moved her into this pot? It actually is too big for Pearl’s size. Succulents like to be kinda snug in their pot. And not too deep a pot because water at the bottom of a longer pot doesn’t always dry enough. Too much water will rot the roots. I’d suggest too to use a cactus/succulent mix rather than regular soil. There’s perlite in your pot but the other medium looks like it may retain moisture. If you like that medium perhaps just add more perlite. It’s definitely πŸ’― not a goner! And if you don’t already know, you can start a new plant from a leaf. The one that’s dropped off in the pic can start a new one!
Here’s one of mine that drops leaves & I just leave them there to start new plants. They’re adorable πŸ₯°
it looks thirsty and in need of more light. pot size depends on the size of the roots, not the plant itself. they should take up 1/3–1/2 of the pot. your soil looks really water retentive.. it should be at least a 1:1 ratio of soil (succulent soil included, that stuff is designed for outdoor use so it's on the water retentive side) to grit (pumice/perlite) and dry out within like 3 days of watering, otherwise you're risking rot/root death
Yeah what she said: it's thirsty and needs more light
Or...you can leave for new ones ❀️
I am moving soon, so I will try to do something with her once I'm settled, as I don't want to stress her out too much. I appreciate and thank everyone for their advice.
