There are a few ways. Some people just plant, water, and keep a close eye to water more if need be.
Others start by adding soil to the water so the plant adjusts that way.
The biggest thing to keep in mind is that right now it has water roots that need to adjust to soil and it will probably start to grow some roots in the soil so the growth up too can slow while it's doing that.

Bought this little beauty last week. Hopefully, I’ve learned enough since killing it last time I had one. I don’t think there’s a YouTube video on care that I have not seen so fingers crossed  #TriostarStromanthe #HappyPlants
