Ill start off the #NewGrowth for the #GregGang so sit back #PlantAddict and have a little #PlantTherapy with #HappyPlants and #PlantsMakePeopleHappy🙌
And more ...
I’m so excited! This little buddy had a horrible infection, from a nursery that sent an infected plant.. but it’s taken over a year to get to this point! So I’m very excited! The second ( new plant) picture is citronella plants, third super dwarf cavendish banana, I believe it will produce fruit this year, which is a first for us, and lastly the very awesome“nightshade” and an orchid between the nightshades! So happy these little buddies have all made a comeback! 🫶🏻👏
These are before and after! The smaller are the ones when they first came, the larger are the ones that grew after arriving and living in their new homes! I think 🤔 they might like it?? 🤭
My moms polka dot baby is popping leaves left and right
proud plant mom for #FreshLeafFriday ! I had some monsteras delivered and they came damaged from the cold! After cutting back the dead parts, we have some #NewGrowth coming in! I also have some pretty new leaves on some other smaller plants!!!
Oracle has gotten a new leaf! #alocasiasilverdragon
Alocasia and Aglaonema this week
Happy #FreshLeafFriday! Got a new leaf on my Thai Constellation, my philodendron golden crocodile, who is successfully re-rooting, and my new guys. Alocasia mirror, and a new Jelly plant. Hoping she does better than the last one! 🤞🏾 #plantsmakepeoplehappy
Cebu Blue and Anthurium new growth this week. Love seeing everyone's plants thriving!
@TheConservator what is the plant in the last photo?
@wolfqueen beautiful!
New here 🍃
My first #FreshLeafFriday 😁Excited to share my red emerald philo working on its newest leaf. It is one of my favorites! Bonus, there are fresh orchid blooms in the back too! My pinstripe calathea is putting out 2 new leaves right now and prayer plant has 5 new leaves on the way. There is even the start of one popping up with the new leaf that just opened. And lastly, my poor, overly dramatic zebra plant that I am trying to nurse back to health has two of the tiniest new leaves 🌱 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GregGang #NewGrowth
Oops! Missed that zebra plant photo! ☺️
@Idplantthat nice looking plants. They look so happy
@mkpinky0908 wow those leaves are beautiful
@Catplantaddict loving the definition of the lines. So bold and beautiful
@wolfqueen wow 😮

Wow I got mentioned and I didn’t expect that! Thanks 🤩 more fresh leaves from this princess in the future I hope🌱🪴
@TheConservator thank you so much! 😊 I am so happy to have found out about Greg. It’s such a wonderful community so far and is the positivity I’ve been needing around me for my own #NewGrowth 💚
This guy had 3 leaves when I brought it inside last month. It is happy now! ❤️
Some of my favorite #FreshLeafFriday pictures from the collection this week my sundew, weeping pussy willow, Mickey Mouse alocasia, hellebores and a new sprout of my variegated Swedish ivy! Great pictures everyone! 🤩😍
@Blueberrypie your Hellebores are beautiful! Can they grow inside? I planted some outside last fall and just checked on them. They are alive, but likely not mature enough to bloom this year.
@LushLeaves25 those are SO BEAUTIFUL!! 😻 I love those plants 🪴
@Blueberrypie your Mickey Mouse alocasia is beautiful! I rescued mine from the store but it is struggling to bounce back
@nellz4estfairyz thank you 😊 I sure hope they can grow inside because after buying I realized they are zone 6 and I’m 5b! But I’m really enjoying having them inside so that’s fine!
@LushLeaves25 they can be very finicky at times and I’m still learning my way around alocasia so hopefully I can keep this one happy. 😃
@nellz4estfairyz the last one in the first set of pics is a silver squal, the last in second set is a hoya tricolor kentiana
@Blueberrypie I’m also in 5b! 😃 I do not know an awful lot about hellebores, but I became interested when I saw them growing outside in the early spring, about 1 hour away from my home. My guess is that the ar in zero 6a or 6b. But when I look them up I find a lot of info saying that they are hardy in zones 3-9. I understand there are probably many different varieties. Also I read that snow cover is good. We usually have snow but like last winter me mostly got rain. So hoping I can keep them alive outside! 😬😀
@TheConservator oh ok! Yes the silver squill is the one I was looking at. Can you grow them outside where you are?
@nellz4estfairyz no im in kansas 🥶not normal but last week we had a couple mornings -5 and next weeks all going to be 0 lows 😤
@TheConservator they are pretty cool looking. I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for one and just keep it as a house plant. 🪴
Its not a plant you see around alot. But you def see em here snd there if your looking! I just got that one like a month ago on after cmas clearance. 6 inch pot reg 25$ and paid 12.50$. But as you can see in the pic it was thin on top! Its starting to fill in after its repot and hps lighting @nellz4estfairyz
@TheConservator two questions for you one … how easy of a grow is your Hoya imbicata been? I’ve been eyeing it for a while now…. And your silver squill? Just reported mine have it in my west window how often do you water it ?? Mine is doing ok… it has gone a bit leggy due to it being inside for the winter but I’ve lost the coloring a bit on mine .
@Hoyaobsessed i water that squill maybe every 2 weeks. But i use a very very chunky well draining mix on succulents. Its dry after 1week id say. I tend to watch the bulbs for slight wrinkling in the outer skin. Im actualky getting ready to water it. Here is a photo of what im looking for. The limbracata i got at the end of summer . It did nothing for 2-3 months, not really sure why tbh? But now its doung great! Seams easy enough. I treat it like a typical care hoya. Descent humidity bright light soak and dry and its growing great now
Really i water sll my bulbous plants using that method and it works for me 🤷‍♂️
@TheConservator thanks ! Your squill is a great specimen!!! Watering today and I noticed color coming back and the leaves are stiff I hues it needed a re pot
@Hoyaobsessed ill get a cutting going today ofc that limracata for you
I bet it roots easy but slow! From my experience the finecrooted types just take time to start growing from the top . Roots grow quick tbh but its such a fine mat.
That caudata was that way zoom in on that caudata. It has that woody thin vines with fine aerials everywhere.
The limbracata seams to have alot the same charecteristics
@TheConservator yep I was thinking that they may have the same attributes … my caudata has lost new leaves and the vines are very woody I was thinking vines were dead … but maybe not .
@Hoyaobsessed also those squill are so easy to start! When you repot they really kind just want to fall apart into bulbs! Kinda gotta hold it all togethor. But grab a few bulbs and throw em in s little pot
@Hoyaobsessed no the vines arent dead Heres my prop vines
Even lropping em i was sure they were dead lol But that one has a tuft of new growth right on top of it with no leaves on the vine since propping
I think you can lay a puece of that woody stem on the soil keep it moist and you got plants
Moist spaghnum prob best for it. Next prop@experiment..... sry @RJG 😂 stealing #FreshLeafFriday 🤷‍♂️ oh well its saturday !
My caudata vines … @TheConservator . Sorry everyone for hijacking post not my intention. Greg needs a direct message app on here. But hey beggars can’t be choosers lol
Yours maybe different mines a sumatra. Yours looks a little more thick and less aerials @Hoyaobsessed
I bet the thickest vines on my whole plant was 1/8 inch
@Maddsplantz Madison I noticed it you planted grass. I have cats and I tried to keep that plant always around, but I somehow don’t understand the scheduling of how long it would last so if you could help me, I really would appreciate it.
Here is what I have as far as #newgrowth today all my #gregfam! She is #Tillandsia #Ionantha #Airplant, and as you can see, there is her bottom leaf she has a baby #airplantpup that has made its appearance this week! 😍😍😍 I am so excited! One day, she will grow up to be her own plant once big enough to separate from her parent plant! 🥰🌱
Here is some more #newgrowth for my #greggang to see! Love me some #moneyTree plants! I am certainly a #plantaddict who loves having #happyplants! 🤩🙌🏼🌿
I always get this cozy feeling on #FreshLeafFriday but today I also feel a tiny bit jealous 😂😂 I mean I wish my plants would look beautiful as that. Specially my alocasias. Congratulations to everyone featured this week. You guys deserve it 🫶🏻🪴
