Is there any specific reason these stems are turning brow...

I’m noticing that the side of Goliath that is usually facing the window has branches that are turning brown… I don’t think it’s been cold enough for it to freeze through the window—and it would’ve gotten my other window plant anyways if it had…
If not cold damage, what would’ve caused this? #CorncobCactus

They look a little crispy to me. Did you get a reflective hot spot? I have that happen due to my courtyard being almost all windows.
@thenonnon maybe… I’ll watch the light and see🤔
It's super frustrating, for sure. I had a tent and screens, and I was totally growing sucs in august high heat outdoors....and then a tiny blast of heat and light pretty much melted a split face Pleiospilos nelii. It went from green to orange an leaky in a day. That's an extreme example, but glass is tricky.
