Rescued this giant fiddle leaf from a friend…. Any tips t...

I repotted and put it in a room with a lot of light. Some of the leaves are looking kind of rough. Is it better to leave them be? Or should I remove the bad ones? Any other tips to get this healthy again? Any advice is appreciated πŸ˜… thanks in advance! πŸ’š #FiddleLeafFig #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantCorner #help

Let it acclimate to its new home. Make sure it’s getting bright light, like that one spot in your house that gets the most light. I would honestly chop her back (don’t worry she will be ok) & then give her a good water with nutrients. You can even double up on it to give her a boost. Water when the top 2-3” inches are dry. I would give her nutrients with every watering & you’ll start seeing new growth. I did it to my 9’ fiddle because she didn’t fit in my house & she’s growing new growth everywhere. I’m low-key worried she will outgrow my house again quick πŸ˜‚
I have a PDF of a great guide for FLFs written by Mandi of HappyHappyHouseplant (on Insta).... Are you in the Greg discord or Facebook groups? Just wondering how I can send it to you... Or if you don't mind putting your email in this public conversation I'll email it to you? πŸ˜ŠπŸ’š
@JenniB81 ooh I have discord but I didn’t even know there’s a Greg group on there! Do you know how I’d find it?

@JenniB81 awesome- I’m in! If you can send me the pdf there that would be great! I’m sleepyb13 on discord
I'll find you! x
@Blau_Ozean this is really helpful. Thank you! Any suggestions how much you would chop?
@sleepyb I honestly think a lot of those leaves will drop just due to prior care and then stress from moving. At least cutting it back shorter will give it the ability to pop more growth points to fill in and become more stable too.
@Blau_Ozean perfect. Thank you so much!!
@Blau_Ozean I took your advice and hoping for the best πŸ˜… (plus some Christmas stuff to help it thrive of course lol) thanks again!!
@sleepyb as long as she gets plenty of light, she will come back strong & full!!
