This shipped to me in Houston last weekend from Florida. Watered last Saturday when I got it, and again yesterday and gave it a little Miracle-Gro Blooming Houseplant Food. Does the plant look healthy? Do I need to cut any stems that might need cutting?

I would do what it says on the Greg app. It is saying to water that specific plant which is not general.

I wouldn’t cut anything. Maybe those yellow stems at the top of the plant.

@BraveTreemallow you’re doing a great job!! As a struggling plant mom, I‘d say your plant looks good but I wouldn’t cut anything just yet… perhaps the yellow stems but yellow stems usually mean overwatering. I’d reaseach the plant a bit more. GOOD LUCK! 🍀

Trimming a tree or a plant actually causes it to want to grow more I use this opportunity when I see slightly browning leaves a good opportunity to trim those and help to to have more growth ￼

Hi Lisa, just be very conservative when you chop. We try to chop at the cross rule of thumb anything growing down you chop without getting your plant a buzz cut ￼
