6” pot with drainage

Hello! What a cute plant & pot! My initial thought is the plant is buried too much below the soil. I’ve attached a photo for reference! Basically, you don’t want any of the petioles / stems covered with soil as it will quickly rot the plant!

I’d suggest lifting that guy out of the soil a bit and make sure you have well aerated soil to prevent root rot! I hope this helps 🀍
See how mainly only the roots are submerged in the soil?
@FineCrapemyrtle the first thing I would do is move it to a pot that has drainage holes. It’s probably droopy from overwatering and sitting in soggy soil. I’d recommend checking to ensure the roots are healthy ( white and firm) and move to a pot with fresh soil and drainage hole. You can always put the plastic pot back in the decorative pot because it is a nice pot and I would want to show ot off. Also how often are you watering? I only water@my monsteras once every 7-10 days.
I’ve only had it about a week and only watered it once
@FineCrapemyrtle well I would definitely take it out of that pot and see what the root system looks like. If there is a foul smell in the soil and the roots are brown or mushy, you have root rot and need to treat it which can be done by removing the bad roots and soaking or rinsing the remaining roots in a mix of water and peroxide to clean the roots and remove the infection before potting in a fresh pot with fresh soil. It does also look like it’s planted a little too deep so I would make sure the tips of the plant are 3 to 4 inches above the soil. So as high up as the ones in my photo.
I would take out and look too if you haven’t recently repotted. I thought my Swiss cheese and my white princess both looked sad as well but same as you I couldn’t fig out why so I added a little pothos plant to each of their pots because i read somewhere that they can help other plants at the prop stage so thought I’d try at this stage. All 4 plants are doing amazing πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ … also the only way I can make room for more plants is if I combine some lol. I love combining different plants in one pot- ivy and pothos tend to be easy care and get along w a lot of diff plants. Hope everything works out!
@DecorousKanna I'd love to see a picture of that combination.

Also, I find that stores tend to over water plants sometimes...at least that's my experience...then I get them and water them again too quickly.
