Ever twisted your fiddle leaf fig?

Anyone ever braided or twisted your #FiddleLeafFig trunks? Mine has 4 and I’ve been reading up on the benefits and how to do it. It makes the entire plant stronger, but, if you do it it’s permanent and if you try to unwind them they’ll break so I guess the lesson in that is make sure you have it the way you want it! I’m pretty happy with mine :) I couldn’t figure out the braid so he’s twisted.

I have some tied up some FLFs together. The thing that worries me is in the future, they MIGHT fill out the pot faster, but then I'll just compensate with a bigger pot.

Yours looks GREAT!

I never thought about braiding! But when I got this it was struggling and I did use ties to put all the stems together to give it strength to stand up better. It definitely helps and it’s given new growth since I brought it home from my sisters and gave it some TLC.

@KDkat3 Wow, yours is beautiful. I’d say it’s at least 2x as tall as mine. Hopefully my FLF will stay healthy and grow that tall some day!
