No that's too cute! Why do all of you do this to me! The name is actually so suitable, it's so cute🧑
That's awesome!! How long have you had it.
@WhisperingWoods Hi Adam
Thanks. I bought him in August and he was in a 2.5 inch pot. I repotted him after a few days in a terracotta pot. And then a few months ago I put it in slightly bigger terracotta pot and placed him under a grow light. He just took off.
Congrats on that little pup!!
I have a fairy washboard that sprouted a flower! And had several babies. I am working now to propagate them… it’s winter I’m hoping they will still thrive.
Congrats! Fairy Washboards make babies like crazy, so don’t be surprised if you see more soon! I have one with 5 babies growing on it currentlyπŸ’š
@StarryKentia Hey Satvika, thank you. His name was actually inspired by a pot, well an old creamer cup I found at the thrift store. I fell in love with the face so I bought it as a drainer tray/cup for a small plant. After I did some research, I found he was a very popular character! There was an old English/Irish folktale about an old soldier who liked hang out in pubs after the war and get drunk so I just had to name my plant after him! Here’s photo of the creamer. He’s actually being used to prop some raindrop Pepermonia leaves right now!
@SoundlyLoquat wow a flower. I can only aspire to that. I feel your pain, I’m waiting for Spring as well. I have so many chop and props as well as repots to get done. I’m buying all the stuff I need now from amazon and elsewhere while it’s off season! Oh and I’d love to see a photo of your flower
@BabeVila I did know they sprouted them but I was just so surprised to see this one did already. It was only a 2.5 inch plant when I got it 4 months ago. I wasn’t expecting babies this soon!🀣😊 I’d love to see photos of yours. Is he big?
@StarryKentia here is the photo of Toby Philpot!
@RefinedSandwort thank you! Now to keep him alive!
@Shells_Garden wow that's actually so cool! The creamer looks hilarious! I love it, Toby Philpot on the other hand, it's just so well connected lol. Love the pot! Imagine the character looked exactly like the pot! That would be such a cool coincidence!
@Shells_Garden I have 2, one is pretty small, only about 3 inches across, and very compactβ€”that’s the one with 5 babies right now lol! The other one is taller and a little bigger, I’ve had it for a year. They’re both at work right now (I keep my succulent collection in my officeβ€”they love the dry air lol), but here are a couple pics I have on my phone. You can see the babies on my older one, it has 2 or 3 atm. I’ll try to remember to take a better picture of the other one on Monday, close up so you can see all that lil babies πŸͺ΄
@BabeVila Shannon, I love them and wow, that little one has a big and plump pup! Thank you for sharing. I got a kick out of us having the same pots! I have a small Croton Petra cutting in a yellow one and a baby snake plant in a purple one!🀩
@Shells_Garden think I will follow your lead with my Kaya. As well as getting her some siblings. Good Job Michelle
@GreenPurpose thank you! I’d definitely get Kaya some friends!
